Sesame Chicken Wings

Great for the football game! Ladies, your hubby won’t even miss the grease! He’ll never know about the healthy ingredients you snuck in!

Cook Time: 75 minutes



12 chicken wings or drumettes
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar (helps with migraines and reduces risk of heart disease) or rice vinegar
1/4 cup healthy soy sauce
Juice of one lemon
Grated Peel of one lemon
One clove garlic, crushed
One tablespoon honey (optional)
3 Tablespoons sesame seeds
1/2 teaspoon curry powder
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 teaspoon dried dill
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon melted coconut oil
1 Tablespoon honey (optional)


Mix vinegar, soy sauce, lemon rind, lemon juice, garlic clove and all spices, plus optional honey, in a bowl. Pour over chicken wings or drumettes and marinate several hours or overnight.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place chicken wings or drumettes in a stainless steel or glass baking pan. Brush with melted coconut oil and sesame seeds. Bake for 1-1/4 hours.

Leftover marinade may be heated and used as a dip.
